DC Cyber Security week with alex wang

​Markesman Group has been actively engaged within the Cyber community during DC Cyber Week. At Elastic(on), Crowell and Morings (Government Contracts 101), SNG Live Cyber Discussions, Alex was able to attend, witness and learn more about factors influencing the cyber industry, government contracting changes for small businesses, and cyber preparedness.
 
Elastic featured Air Combat Command (ACC) and their efforts to integrate Elastic as a SIEM for Mission Defense Teams (MDTs) as they stand up a new organization to secure our assets. As Elastic continues to develop more features and integrate their tools into other organizations, Markesman will continue to track their functionality and build outs.
 
Crowell and Moring hosted a continuing education for contract managers which reviewed some of the basics of DCAA and DCMA viewpoints, Pricing audits and compliance, history of contract management and industry/government trends.

​SNG hosted a series of events including the opening week party and live discussions around Cyber persistency and readiness. We were impressed with their office space, hosting space for guests, and the level of engagement during Cyber week between Government and Industry.
